Three urgent care visits, two...no actually three courses of antibiotics and one course of steroids. That about sums up this last week for Maddy and I. Luckily the little lady was well enough to celebrate her birthday and we are in the final stages of getting everything together for her party tomorrow - very exciting.
The illness that hit me this week, could not have come at a worse time. Not only did I want to be prepared for Maddy's birthday (and more prepared for her party) but I was also in charge of teacher appreciation this week for both Maddy and Josh's teachers. The plan was to present them with little gifts each morning to let them know they are appreciated.
Some shuffling and re-arranging had to occur to accommodate my throbbing head and I whipped up these cushions for both of them for day 2::
The only other crafting from me this week has been to test out the new lego moulds I had bought to make lego crayons for Josh's Birthday party next month::
The kiddies were suitably impressed! (16 down 84 to go!)

I have a Lego fanatic at my house...where did you get the awesome mini fig mold???

Oh Dear parenting just keeps getting harder and harder!
I hope you get a chance to rest and let your body heal.
Your work is just adorable!
