Spring break went by in a rainy haze, it felt like England here in our little corner of Oklahoma. After doing all of the indoor activities and playdates that we could, we took a mini-vacation down to Dallas to spend the weekend.
A new attraction has opened in Dallas which had the kiddies very excited...Legoland!! (and the usual attractions that have Mama excited...Ikea and Sam Moon!)
I decided not to take my big camera with me and relied on my trusty iphone, hence the quality of the photos.
We built cars to race, towers to be tested against earthquakes...
rode lego bikes and Lego Harry Potter rides..
Woky Bushrod (as in 'Ewoky') and Mini Maddy joined us for the day and got to enjoy some sights close up:
and after a browse of the Lego shop - Indie came to join us....
It was a great day, made even nicer with a dinner and a beer that evening!
I think it may be one of our new regular stops in Dallas!
