We have eased into the transition of summer nicely...our yearly 'two weeks of swimming lessons' have started and both children are more than happy to throw themselves off the diving board without hesitation. A far cry from yesteryear when Maddy would have to be physically picked up and dropped off the end by a parent volunteer.
Our days have slowed down and we often find ourselves at a friends pool for a few hours or back at the house working on projects.
Maddy has quite the variety of drawing books now and spends a good deal of her time working through them, picking new characters to attempt and then creating characters of her own.
Josh continues to add to his ever evolving lego cities and could spend literally hours entertaining himself with lego.
Mads is showing more of an interest these days into learning to sew, so I have promised to work on some project with her over the summer.
I have a stack of projects I am working on now and must get my camera out to take some pics. I have been plodding my way through this quilt kit (that I have had in my stash for the past 4+ years) I am making a few changes to it, to omit the icky blocks and replace them with something cuter. (I would love to do this one for Nephew Nathan too)
So, this weekend I will attempt to photograph the progress!
