This year, we have been blessed with not one but TWO new nephews! Baby Jackson made his way into the world a few months ago and I am ashamed that it has taken me this long to get his gifts sorted (and I am still working on his quilt..ahem!)
So when Jay told me that I had the opportunity to send some gifts home, by way of his work-colleagues suitcase...I jumped at the chance.
I managed to finish off a little outfit for Jackson, very similar to the ones I made for Nathan...and then I set about making some bibs.
Oh bibs, so easy to make and soooo cute - I love them!
I got the idea for the monster bib from these amazingly crafty ladies...but with my printer out of ink and no 'steam a seam' in the house to make the teeth, I made my own bib pattern and used fleece for the teeth.
I cranked up the embroidery machine to make the applique letters and used some of my very favourite vespa x Union Jack fabric for the first time!
The embroidery machine did the applique again on this one which I then quilted around twice when the bib was all sewn up.
Loving the tie-bib!
and my favourite of all!!
I feel like I have been quilting all summer, so it was great to spend some time on different, instant gratification projects!
