During the summer, I hosted a 'Pinterest Party Night' for some girlfriends. It was a wonderful excuse to pack off the children and husbands for the night and enjoy some girl-talk and a whole lot of crafting (and eating, mustn't forget the eating!)
My kitchen counter was practically creaking with all the yummy goodies they brought - from homemade sangria to amazing desserts, dips...oh the joys!
I whipped up a batch of Gordon Ramsay's meatballs - best meatballs EVER!
The marmite whirls went down very well as did the cake batter dip (brought by Lisa) although it looks innocent enough, it was, in fact - evil! and stopping at covering just one graham cracker was just not possible.
Lisa insisted upon leaving half of the dip with me and when I found myself awake in the night...I made a little visit to the fridge!
Each one of us had our own little selection of projects to work on and I had another project ready to go for anyone who fancied trying it (the flower pins - below)
Lisa whipped up some rather cute coasters...(all whilst rocking the minion shirt I might add!)
Erika whipped up a 5 stranded headband for her sweet girl...
and then went on to make some flower pins (they did seem to be a big hit, a real 'instant gratification' project methinks)
Erika rocking her flower pin she made!
Cotton flower top left, chiffon flower top right and 3 felt flowers underneath.
It was sooo good to spend some quality time with some very quality ladies and I am looking forward to the next Pinterest Party Night in a few weeks.
