Family life has been somewhat hectic recently! All of us have, at one stage, come down with some strange congestion illness (which Jay is still suffering from, although I think in his particular case, its man flu)
Weeks and weeks of disturbed nights of sleep has finally taken its toll on our whole family, and we actually had a *family nap time* on Sunday afternoon to try and start to feel human again. It is not uncommon for either Jay or I to spend more time taking children back to bed than tucked up asleep in bed right now. The other morning, upon waking up in Maddy's bed - I worked out that I had, in fact, slept in 3 different beds that night...in a desperate attempt to settle the kiddies and get some shut-eye!
Joshua's night-terrors seem to have slowed down remarkably, so Maddy has picked up the gauntlett and now wakes us for a variety of reasons - including (and I am not exaggerating)
*I need ice in my juice (yeah, that goes down well at 4am?!)
*I can't find my stickers (that you often need at midnight?)
*Will you get me new jamajies (pajamas)
I snapped this photo last night after AWANA (Maddy proudly wore her first earned badge!) at about 7.15pm when I had left Mads for 2 minutes whilst in the kitchen, returned into the lounge and this is how the little lady was on the sofa:
Completely zonked!! Joshua asked me to then take a photo of him as I was taking one of Maddy:
So this week we are praying for more sleep, guidance for a good decision, a healthier family and lots of sewing time!!!
I hope you all get some good sleep and are feeling better soon! That's never any fun.

Your description of Maddy's various reasons for needing to get up in the night made me laugh out loud - although I should really be worrying as it means my current sleep-deprived state is probably going to continue for at least the next 5 years.... Much love to you all x x x
